Recently I've been working on making our cows come to life a little bit with some moos and screaming.  

The first task for the cows was to make sure that they could moo every now and then while they sat on the ground.  It wasn't anything too complicated, but the cows were up and mooing with random intervals, with a random pitch, and also were panned correctly.  The next task was to make an actual moo sound effect for them.

Since I don't have any cows nearby to record I had to resort to making my own moos from scratch.  Currently the cows are playing my kazoo that I have in my room, but the kazoo is pitched down a good bit to feel more moo-like.  

The next moo I needed to add was a moo-scream sound for when the cows get sucked up by the player.  The cows give off a long kazoo note that increasing pitch as they move faster.  Again the scream is my kazoo from home pitched down a bit.  Now you can fling cows around with your UFO and hear them scream their lungs out (from joy.  it's like a rollercoaster for them.)!
