Holy Production Batman
Hi everyone,
We are making some headway on our project but I wanted to talk a little about the production process we have been using. Right now we have two different ways of tracking our progress. We have a trello and then a google sheet.
The Trello
This is broken down into different sprints and we move the cards into their columns based off of their status. It's not used TOO much and I am sure I am not utilizing it to it's fullest extent but this is what we are using it for at the moment.
The Google Sheet
Also known as the Gsheet by me. This is a littler more hefty and has our in class deadlines in them. Each person has a color and they mark what weeks they have been working on that task with the color. It's a pretty flawed way of doing things because if someone finishes something in the middle of the week there is no way of knowing what exact day they finish. I like this one the most because it looks cool but if our team was bigger and we had a bigger scope it would be awful to use.
We also practice ceremonies. We check in every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. This "meeting" if you even want to call it that lasts five minutes max. We talk about what we're doing, what've done and if there is anything blocking our progress. It's just a way to keep everyone up to date on what people are working on and opens conversations if there are dependencies on something else.
That is it for now! Talk to you later with more production updates!
