Making Cows and Ships
Since it's a space related game we decided to pull inspiration from different si-fi movies. A lot of the ones that pointed out to us were the ones from the 1950s and 60s. We then decided to make the look of our game in mostly black and white with a dash of red.
I first set off to make the UFO. A lot of our models are going to be low poly so my first pass at a spaceship is pretty easy. If there is more time before the end the 10 weeks we have I will make more that are more interesting looking. We are also hoping to have the spaceship look like our physical controller so I will work with Thomas to see what that looks like.
I also started modeling the cows which was a touch harder than I thought. The head section was giving me a hard time since I made the rest of the body pretty chunky. Thankfully we aren't rigging the models so I made the cow look very low poly. I also didn't want to unwrap it so I painted strange shaped faces black in order to give it that cow look.
I am having some issues with my Unity Hub so hopefully I am able to get that sorted out soon so I can put the files into the project myself.
Next I should be making the enemies and the meter UI.
