As much as I love itch this blog post is really for me to RANT!  I spent way too long on trying to have the itch for this game look the way it does now. I know itch has their dimensions for the cover photo and screenshot size limits. The he case is not the same when trying to upload a background image or banner image. In their design guide they don't really specify anywhere they have these dimensions. Thankfully the Itch.io form board is a life savior and gave me relative sizes. I spent what feels like hours trying to size down my files and making them the proper dimensions. People who can make itch pages look beautiful are the real heroes. Now our itch looks like this:

So I am happy with it for now!

I also spent some time designing the title sequence for the game and it honestly took me a lot longer than I had  had anticipated. I am fairly familiar with after effects but something must've been happening with my brain because I  could not edit the title sequence the way I wanted. I eventually closed down the project and did what I  wanted the next day but it was tedious none the less.
